Rafi Segal, PhD, is an architect and writer who teaches urbanism and architecture at the MIT Department of Architecture and at Columbia University. Among his previous publications: A Civilian Occupation, The Politics of Israeli Architecture (Babel, Verso 2003) and Cities of Dispersal (Wiley&Sons, 2008).
