Energy needs could be satisfied by innovative technologies using abundant and infinite sources of fuel. Free energy allowed people to get rid of their energy ties. As a result even the poorest accessed a decent life. The political, social and economical organisation of the world at all levels changed drastically thanks to people's independence.
