A redefinition of its relations with China is needed if Latin America wants to resume economic growth and benefit from continued investment by the Asian country, according to a new report led by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

The recommendation comes from a paper entitled “Economic perspectives for Latin America 2016 — towards a new partnership with China“, co-authored by OECD, the Economic Commission for Latin America (ECLAC), and the Latin America Development Bank (CAF).
