Twisting the 'lessons of history' to authorise unjustifiable violence: the Mediterranean crisis

Update: This letter has generated support from scholars across the world, not only from within the fields of migration and slavery but also from many related areas—such as law, history and philosophy—as well as support from other parts of civil society.
