Mehrangiz Kar
Mehrangiz Kar is a human rights lawyer, essayist, and former editor of the now-banned Zan literary review. Her work as an activist for womens rights often put her in conflict with Iranian authorities. Her publications include Women in the Iranian Labor Market (1994). In 2004-05, she is a visiting scholar at the Radcliffe Institute, Harvard University.
