Tomorrow has been declared a global day of action in the fight to stop climate change. This is timed to coincide with the beginning of the Nairobi COP/MOP meeting (Kyoto talks for the uninitiated). It’s been a big week with the Stern report hopefully setting the agenda for a new level of dialogue at Nairobi. From Australia to Uruguay people will be taking action to pressure their governments to do more, now!
Here in the UK I’m off down to Trafalgar Square where an event is happening as part of the new Icount campaign. If you can it would be wonderful for you to send us details/ pictures/ mini-blogs describing what’s going on where you live. With any luck we’ll try to assemble these next week along with an account of proceedings here.
