It is now possible to contact openDemocracy through Skype; just add us a contact with the user name opendemocracy. Not only that, but while you're using Skype you might want to check out this impressive open source project, modelled on a concept in 'Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom', a novel by openDemocracy friend Cory Doctorow. The program is a plugin for Skype that automatically allocates respect, or 'whuffie', to the people you chat with based on the content of those conversations (especially with emoticons).
