Palestinian music on Resonance

8 December 2005

Music journalist and global music dj Jamie Renton talks to the Palestinian singer Reem Kelani on Resonance 104.4FM.

You will hear tracks from Reem's debut cd 'Sprinting Gazelle: Palestinian songs from the Motherland and the Diaspora' released in February 2006 on Fuse Records.

Reem will also be sharing personal stories from her numerous research trips to Palestine from which the album's songs are selected.

Another great show from the LMC's ResonanceFM putting a megaphone up to the lips of the quieter voices of global politics, music and art. You can hear Resonance in the London area on 104.4FM or online at www.resonancefm.com
