The deadline for submissions has passed and your paragraphs are in. So now it falls to the selection team to decide who gets the top of the story on "how she got to the top". Entries have ranged from the fanciful to the familiar, from humble beginnings to high drama. We will pick opening paragraphs for both the reader and author rengas, and be ready to set the stories in motion, by the end of the week, when we will also let all readers who entered know whether they are taking part.
