Aurora is a social justice educator, lawyer, and filmmaker. She obtained her BFA in New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico. Her work focuses on the intersections of decolonial radical education projects and social movements in Puerto Rico. As a doctoral candidate in Social Justice Education at UMass Amherst, her dissertation examines solidarity as anti-colonial feminist praxis in the context of community-based research in Puerto Rico.
