Prosecutors wanted

Published:

Ricardo Alarcón, president of the Cuban National Assembly made a cameo appearance yesterday at a coordination workshop tittled "Strategies against American military presence in Latin America and the Caribbean". In it, Mr Alarcón solidarized with concerns of the representatives from countries like  Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, and Paraguay about the creation of American military bases in their territories; and the anti-terrorist campaigns similar to Plan-Colombia in the Sub-Continent. He also demanded the "immediate extradition" to Venezuela of Cuban former-CIA operative/terrorist Luis Posada Carriles, who is being held illegally by the US.
