Jen Kavanagh

Jen Kavanagh is Audience Engagement Manager on the Information Age project at the Science Museum. Her role involves overseeing the participation programme which fed into the gallery’s development, as well as managing the learning programme which will support the gallery post-opening. Jen is Treasurer of the Social History Curators Group, an Associate Member of the Museums Association (AMA), as well as a mentor for AMA candidates.

Many institutions, including London's Science Museum, are now looking to invite their audiences to take a more active role in engaging with their sites and collections, rather than being the traditional passive consumers of culture.
