Milena Belloni

Milena Belloni (Flemish Research Foundation – FIERI/TRAFIG) has long-term experience working on migration from the Horn of Africa to Europe. She is the author of “The Big Gamble: the migration of Eritreans to Europe” (UC Press, 2019). Besides her academic publications, she previously collaborated with Al Jazeera America, the BBC and the Humanitarian.
