Mark A. Harris is currently an Associate Professor at UBC's Social Justice Institute. Before joining the faculty at La Trobe University's School of Law, in the early 2000s, he worked Native Title (Indigenous Land Rights) Lawyer in Australia for Mirambiak Nations Aboriginal Corporation. With Denise Ferreira da Silva, he co-edited the volume Indigenous Peoples and the Law (Routledge, 2018) and is the editor of the Routledge book series Indigenous Peoples and the Law
