e-border update

Anthony Barnett (London, OK):  More work is being done at Slugger O'Toole and Green Ribbon on how the e-borders issue is getting Northern Ireland in a twist, a story that I and Lord Trevor Smith (get better soon!) follow when we can. The dynamic heart of the story is that the more the government seeks to push through its all British anti-terrorism drive the more its increases the stress on the break points of the actually existing (still) unity of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, which was always a state of exceptions under a single sovereignty and not a unified polity.
