Londoners deliberate with Will Self

Will Self had a fascinating encounter with London's Clapham Omnibus. He decided to talk to ten people on a journey on the 88 across London, reported in the Evening Standard. Its worth a read as his feel for character and attitude brings the voters to life. One conclusion he came to was:

What did my tiny trawl through the great sea of London opinion teach me? Well, that the range and manner of thinking about political choice, even when questioned very superficially, seems far deeper and more subtle than opinion polls ever manage to convey.
