Gemma is mother to four children. She lives in a four-bedroomed house in Coventry, a post-industrial Midlands city where one in four children lives in poverty and foodbanks feed tens of thousands of families.
Recently diagnosed with depression, Gemma is receiving cognitive behavioural therapy, a form of counselling.
