Rosemary Bechler: Tell us about the work you do and set it in context for us.
Nando Sigona: My main areas of work are around the refugee crisis and how it is configured in different European countries, this is part of a large project funded by the Economic and Social Research Council and DFID (www.medmig.info) which looks at migration drivers, experiences and routes of people who crossed into Italy, Greece, and Malta by boat.
