Amongst the endless debates on voting system, this one certainly stands out for me for being both relatively simple for the voter (you cast one vote for the candidate you prefer) and proportional as a result (small parties can still up with representation). The idea of MPs wielding different levels of power is a controversial one - Governments would need their loyalists in seats where turnout was highest, and we can perhaps imagine small blocs of very powerful Members controlling the balance of power. But it's interesting stuff to speculate on - any other thoughts?
