White group: results of first iteration

WE ARE LEARNING HOW TO DEAL WITH THE QUESTION OF ‘THE NEXT DAY’ OR WHEN WE GET POWER. THE WAY TO DO IT IS THROUGH ACTION!

-

WE ARE STILL CLINGING TO PRACTICES AND IDEAS THAT ARE NO LONGER RELEVANT BECAUSE OF COLLUSION WITH THE ‘OLD LEFT’.

-

WE NEED GRASS-ROOTS, ACTION DRIVEN SOLUTIONS AND RESPONSES THAT ARE NEW PRACTICES DIFFERENT FROM THE OLD.

-

IN THE NEXT SESSION WE WILL EXPLORE FURTHER:

* THE TOOLS WE HAVE ARE NOT ENOUGH

* WHAT TO DO ‘THE DAY AFTER’

* WE SEEK PRACTICAL VS ABSTRACT SOLUTIONS

* ABOLISH THE LEFT!

White group: results of second iteration

THERE ARE CERTAIN CORE VALUES WE WANT TO KEEP, WITH NEW METHODS, TOOLS AND PRACTICES COMPATIBLE WITH THE NEW BROADER POLITICAL, SOCIAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL CONTEXT:

* PEOPLES’ PARTICIPATION IN POLITICS.

* 4 CHARACTERISTICS OF POLITICAL LIFE:

* DISTRIBUTED DECISION MAKING

* HORIZONTAL RELATIONSHIP WITH SOCIAL MOVEMENT

* MODE OF RESONATING BROADLY TO OTHERS (RESONATING BOX)

* EXPAND THE SCOPE OF INSTITUTIONAL ROLE ‘THE DAY AFTER’.

White group: results of third iteration and final statement

WE ARE IN A CRISIS OF POLITICAL REPRESENTATION.

NEW POLITICAL ACTORS AND PRACTICES ARE RISING (DISTRIBUTED, MORE HORIZONTAL, INCLUSIVE).

WE EMBRACE THE CONSTRUCTIVE TENSIONS BETWEEN POLITICAL PLATFORMS AND MOVEMENTS.

LANGUAGE AND CONNECTION WITH THE PEOPLE IS KEY:  OPENNESS, LISTENING, EMPOWERING AND PUTTING DIGNITY AT THE CENTRE.

SHARING BEST PRACTICES AND KNOWLEDGE WILL MAKE US STRONGER (AND MORE SEXY!)
