Was Guido first?

Published:

Anthony Barnett (London, OK): Coming back on the tube tonight I read a short item in the Evening Standard by Paul Waugh its deputy political editor about Peter Hain. It says that

"Fresh questions" have arisen because "It has emerged PR firm Morgan Allen Moore, founded by Mr Hain's former campaign manager Steve Morgan, shares the same registered address as the [Progressive Policy ] Forum... Both are registered as 83 Wimpole Street... which is the office of solicitors McEwen Parkinson"

Well, well. I am sure that I read this as a prominent story on Guido Fawkes. His site is down at the moment and the Standard's search engine is rubbish. So I can't demonstrate it, and will put in the links later - if I am right! One of GF's constant themes is that the British "dead tree press"  is just unable to admit that blogland breaks stories. They will, Guido, they will. Or rather, "it will emerge" that blogs often lead where the press follows
