Jon Bright (London, OK): Yesterday, I posted a picture from the ERS showing how under represented women have been in the UK in the 90 years since they have had the vote. Beatrice Barleon at Women and the Vote, which is a new ERS campaign, emailed to say they have a more recent one (which the f-word also points out), part of which looks like this:
Interesting to note that, just like the Privacy International map that also went up this week, we are once again on roughly the same page as China, despite the fact that democracy is supposedly much better at distributing power than dictatorship. Still - are we at least less prone to repressive forms of governance? I await a map on the scale of detention without trial around the world to find out...
