We are sorry that we have had to put a pause on receiving submissions for a short time. We are in the process of introducing a new system which will allow us to respond more quickly and effectively to the ever-burgeoning response of openDemocracy contributors which is our lifeblood. We need till the third week of the new year to get this up and running and until then, it is with regret that we have decided it is only fair to ask you to seek other outlets for your work. It wouldn’t be fair to keep you waiting in submissions when we have no chance of publishing between now and then.
