Starting an educational center in the Beqaa Valley of Lebanon which reaches over 2000 vulnerable refugee children each year and provides psychosocial support, teacher training and a mother and child centre.

Remarks on what I’m hoping to leave this event with:

I want to broaden my insights on how others view democracy (in real terms not just theoretical), engage in active dialogue with a variety of people from various backgrounds on common themes and, especially in these critical global socio political times, look towards the future critically and proactively.
