Who does your MP work for? The constituency, right? Who does the government prioritise when deciding on policy or handing out contracts? The public, of course. In our democracy, we elect politicians to represent the people’s interests and improve their quality of life.
But is any of that true in reality?
This is the central question we need to address, and that’s why I’ve set up Consolidate – an online database that tells you exactly who funds your MP, what shares they own, and any second jobs they might have.
