London’s OPEN 2019 Community Gathering (27-28 June) will feature two days of open space sessions on ways to develop the collaborative, regenerative economy.

The attendees will define the agenda in a truly collaborative, democratic way using dotmocracy to design the open space sessions and tackle the calling question: How can we support each other to take more effective action to catalyse the collaborative, regenerative economy? Topics include Cooperation among Cooperatives, Software for cooperation, Citizens Action Networks, Building a movement, Mutual Credit, Developing a platform co-op fund, Open source tools for humans to organize and Colony which helps people build peer to peer organisations on the internet. Paul Mason will also be exploring the role of the government in the post-capitalist economy in a session entitled ‘Beyond Carbon and Capitalism’ – in which he will question ‘the Role of the State?’

What’s it all about?

We need to join the dots between all the organisations and communities that are working on building a new, regenerative economy – by acknowledging the shared purpose of our movement.
